Time registration
-
Is there a time registration?
Only at all parts of the Half Marathon Rotterdam on Sunday the MYLAPS BibTag will be used to register time. On the back of your starting number (Bib) is an electronic chip (Tag) and a plastic spacer. BibTag makes it very easy to register your times, the only thing you have to do is wear the start number correctly.
You can also track participants in the app.
Information to ensure proper time registration:
- Wear the start number visibly on the chest. Do not cover the start number with a jacket or with your hands while passing the mats on the start and finish line. These mats will catch the signal from your BibTag (also be careful when pressing your own stopwatch on the start and finish line).
- Do not fold or crumple the start number. Certainly not where the Tag is.
- Use four pins at the corners of the starting number, don't pierce the Tag.
- Do not remove the plastic spacer.
- The BibTag is based on a different technology than the MYLAPS ChampionChip. Therefore, you cannot use your yellow or green MYLAPS ChampionChip during this event. However, you can leave your MYLAPS ChampionChip attached to your shoe, it will not interfere with the BibTag system.
What is the official time?
Gross time is official time. It starts the moment the starting shot is given and stops the moment you pass the finish line. Net time is the time that starts when you pass the mat on the starting line and stops when you cross the finish line. The net time is given as an extra service.
